“What a joy! My hunny and I came without the kids, during the day, and it was such a joy! First off, pumpkins were amazing prices. We got ours for $5.99 apiece!! Then we had apple fritters and peach pie. I enjoyed the strawberry ice cream immediately following. Now, the boiled peanuts we enjoyed home exploring were a touch burnt but we’re going to presume it was an off day because there’s no way that regularly happens. Then for less than $40 we played with bubbles, did basketball, slid down slides, played baseball, dominated the Elmo and Cookie Monster corn maze, explored the pumpkin patch and shot apples out of a cannon! Ending the day with 30 minutes in the flower patch, cutting a bouquet of flowers for just $8. (The dahlias were stunning!) NOW! Evening times you practically can’t get in, traffic is backed up BOTH WAYS. So just do like us and enjoy it during the day if you don’t want to chance it. (FYI, we’re 33 and 40 and had a blast.) UPDATE: Special thanks to Miguel and Jessy for finding and returning my lost Lululemon to me!”
— Aerial Payne“Spent the day with my sister at Jaemore and it did not disappoint! We did the 17$ wristbands and were able to do a cornmaze, hayride, and shoot the apple cannon! There were other activities but they were more suitable for young children. I highly recommend coming by especially if you have small kids. We also tried the apple mini donuts which were very yummy! Great experience overall!”
— Sarah Grace Souter“Jaemore Farms It was a cool overcast day. We decided it would be a great day to visit Jaemore Farms in Alto, GA. Looks like everyone had the same idea. It took awhile to find a place to park. There were things for the kids to do including a corn maze. We purchased our tickets and walked over to wait for the hayride. Everyone was surprised to learn this would be my first hayride. It was very enjoyable. The view was amazing. Mountains in the distance and pumpkins growing in the fields around us. We arrived at our destination. There were fields and fields of flowers on one side and a stand selling a variety of refreshments and snacks and lots of pumpkins of every size and shape on the other side. My friend and I had purchased a ticket to enter the flower fields. They give you a pair of snips and an oversized cup so you can pick your own flowers. There were all kinds of flowers in many varying colors. When we finished picking our flowers I noticed a sunflower field in the distance. It was like walking in a jungle surrounded by towering sunflowers. We had gotten our exercise with all the walking. We decided to walk back to the refreshment stand for water and kettle corn and to wait for the next hay wagon to take us back to the entrance. The experience isn't complete until you have visited the country store at the top of the hill. They have boiled peanuts, fresh vegetables, cakes, pies, jams, jellies, sauces as well as canned vegetables. I had to purchase some hot chow-chow (a southern delicacy). They also offer fresh churned ice cream, baked goods and freshly made chicken salad chicken salad. We couldn't pass up the ice cream. It's definitely worth the drive.”
— Lynn Hudson“The place has a very pleasant, rustic, natural vibe — exactly what you’d expect from a farm/market experience. We were really drawn to a cherry-filled fried pie and a red velvet cookie — both kinds of sweets made with real care and seriously good. Also noticed lots of fresh produce, fruits, flowers, and great variety. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Everything seemed clean and well organized. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between a relaxing walk and discovery — you stroll around, see things, smell things, pick what you like. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something different, sweet, delicious, and with that genuine farm feel.”
— Paulo P.The $17 wristband includes corn maze, hayride, apple cannon, and access to most play areas. Flower picking is separate at $8 per bouquet.
